BRING BACK THE FIREWORKS
The Town of Wareham, Onset Bay Association, Wareham Village Association,
and Cape Cod Canal Region Chamber of Commerce have partnered together
to bring back the Fireworks in Onset Village, scheduled on Saturday,
July 5, 2008.
$20,000 must be raised for the Fireworks Display. The Wareham
Fireworks Committee, chaired by Lauren Besse Cardin and Jamie Cubellis
Souza, is fast at work in developing appeal letters and contacting
corporate sponsors. Much progress has been made. About
$8000 has been raised to date.
Support from the community is imperative. Donations,
small or large, can be sent to Town of Wareham Fireworks Fund, Treasurer/Collectors

Humanity are looking for women volunteers to work just
one day on a Habitat house construction site during National Women
Build Week, May 4 - 10. Construction or home improvement experience

will be available, 8:30 am to noon or noon to 4pm. Lunch
