A  CANAL  CHRISTMAS

christmas The Cape Cod Canal Region Chamber has released their annual “Christmas In Sandwich” ornament, hand-blown by master glassblower Michael Magyar of The Glass Studio on Cape Cod .  Each ornament is etched with “Christmas In Sandwich, 17th, 2009” and individually numbered.   A limited edition of 500 ornaments will be produced.

For the second year, the Chamber is again offering the new item by Michael Magyar, a hand-blown Canal Christmas Candy Cane.  To fall in line with this year’s theme, the candy cane is burgundy with green swirls.

Cost of the ornament is $30 and the candy cane is $15.  Each ornament can be shipped for an additional charge.  These collectible ornaments can be purchased online, at the Chamber Business Office in Buzzards Bay, the Cape Cod Canal Region Visitor Center at the base of the Sagamore Bridge and the following Sandwich locations: The Snow Goose Shop, The Dan’l Webster Inn & Spa, Cape Cod Cooperative Bank, Cape Cod Five Cents Savings Bank, Eastern Bank, Citizens Bank and The Glass Studio on Cape Cod.
