Canal Region Chamber Holds Annual Meeting

The Cape Cod Canal Region Chamber of Commerce held its First Annual Breakfast Meeting, Wednesday, January 23rd at the Upper Cape Cod Regional Technical School. Members filled the Canalside Dining Room and were treated to a wonderful breakfast buffet prepared and served by Culinary Arts students. The following slate of directors was elected:

assignment to Afghanistan and an overview of the canal operations.

MEMBER HAPPENINGS

The Community Bank Business Resource Center in Hyannis will present a seminar entitled “Incorporating Your Business.” Guest speakers Keith McManus of McManus, Norton & MacNamee, P.C. and Larry Drago owner of BIZ Checks will help assess if a business should incorporate. Topics will include human resource issues, employer obligations, entity overviews and more. The seminar will be held on Wednesday, March 19, 2008 from 8:45am -11am at 259E Stevens Street, Hyannis, MA.
