Cape Cod Harley-Davidson, 750 MacArthur Boulevard, Pocasset, is donating the bike to the Cape Cod Canal Region Chamber of Commerce for the Bourne Scallop Festival scheduled for September 19-21 at Buzzards Bay Park. It will be a grand affair on Sunday, September 21st, at 2:30pm when the Scallop Fest Raffle is held on the main stage under the Food and Entertainment Tent.

Tickets are now on sale and can be purchased at the Cape Cod Canal Region Chamber’s Business Office, 70 Main Street, Buzzards Bay, at Cape Cod Harley-Davidson, 750 MacArthur Boulevard, Pocasset and their Hyannis location at 615 Main Street.

The National Marine Life Center’s 2008 Mermaid Ball, Friday, August 15th, 6 - 11 pm. Join us at the Massachusetts Maritime Academy in Buzzards Bay for dining and dancing to Four Guys in Tuxes, a live and silent auction, meet-and-greet with legendary Red Sox pitcher Bill Lee, plus a special performance by Grammy-nominated recording artist Sophie B. Raffle tickets are available for a fishing charter for four out of the Fairhaven Shipyard. Charter date is Tuesday, September 2, 2008. Chances are $10 each or $20 for three. The charter is valued at over $600.   Proceeds from the fundraiser will benefit the A.L.S. Family Charitable Foundation, Inc. a non-profit organization in Buzzards Bay, MA, dedicated to raising funds for patient programs and services and for cutting edge research to find a cure.
